i am in the same boat. I used to feel like i was the only one with this problem. I found out a few years ago that i have periodontal disease which is the teeth decaying from the gums. I absolutely cannot afford the dental care that i need. It has made me feel less of myself and ugly..I have been told that i am a pretty woman until i smile then things change. I can't smile it's embarrassing so bad. I am 45 and don't feel like it a lot of the times, but having bad teeth makes me feel like a loser, a failure because i cannot afford to get them fixed. I even feel like my husband doesn't even like me anymore because of the way i look. It's total humiliation. Where is there to go to get at least my front teeth replaced? I am not concerned with the back...i just want to be able to smile again and have my self-esteem back.
